Description
A course for beginners. If you have never tried knitting or have tried it but something went wrong, this course is for you.
One or two people can take the course at the same time.
We start with the LK-150 machine (class 4) — it’s the easiest and simplest way to learn.
Course program:
- Introduction to knitting machines: classes, manufacturers. Types of yarn.
- Stockinette stitch. Knitting with different techniques, making samples.
- Picking up and closing loops.
- Decreases, increases (making a kerchief if desired).
- Shortened rows.
- Joining parts (on the machine, by hand). WTO
- Openwork (class 4). Openwork and punch cards (for class 5)
- Sleeve (casting on sleeves from the fabric), placket
- Neckline
- Useful calculations
- Let’s knit a simple jumper!
Course duration – 10 lessons * 3 academical hours
Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12 to 3 p.m.
